SFXC Hydrochromic Screen Printing Ink changes colour when it comes into contact with water - suitable for paper, board and canvas.
Wet and reveal hidden messages, images and text. The ink is white when dry. When the layer of Hydrochromic ink comes into contact with water it turns translucent, revealing the hidden layer.
Please note that Hydrochromic is white and therefore, do not try and cover hard dark colours like black, dark blue or red, instead lighten those colours to be grey, light blue or pink or you will see the dark colours through the white coating.
Apply 2 thin coats by screen printing or using a flat foam roller. Coverage is 50ml per square metre per coat.
DO NOT APPLY WITH A BRUSH!
Hydrochromic inks can be used on business cards, invitations, magazines, games, brochures, labels, art installations, children's activities, puzzles and signs.
We also stock Hydrochromic sheets to make your project just that bit simpler!
50ml and 100ml are sample sizes.
